Graduating with a Master of Visual Arts from HKBU, I want to explore the power of metaphors and abstract thoughts. Using forms and textures to construct a visual language that speaks to the universal human experience, evoking a sense of self-discovery and contemplation. I hope my art leads to a shared understanding of the power and beauty within the metaphorical and complex elements of the world around us. For me, beauty exists in the mind that contemplates it, and each mind perceives a different beauty. Beauty is to be found in imperfection and impermanence. The world is in a constant state of fluidity, in which everything comes from nothing and returns to nothing, and within this everlasting movement, nature leaves tracks for us to anticipate.
